Are you At Lanta? You should be - the party scene kicks some peach tree butt! I went to Emory and with the dwindling party scene on campus comes the now-rampant club promoting game, that gives students looking to go crazy (like me!) an outlet. Most Emory students that do party, including nearly all of Greek life, go out on Thursday nights to various clubs promoted by other students in either Buckhead or Midtown. Tuesday is also a big night, with many students venturing out to different areas of Atlanta for fun. Nearly every night of the week is a good one for Maggie’s Bar and Grill, about a five-minute cab ride from campus—a poorly lit and stuffy bar known for letting anyone and everyone in.

Read moreat places to go, with some clubs in Buckhead offering free admission and relaxed dress codes, while others can cost up to $20 and require dressy attire. Midtown is mainly dressy and almost every club charges to get in. Either place is great for a long night, but be advised that almost nowhere in Atlanta is 18-and-up, which means that it’s a very exciting city to go to college in, and a tremendous place to party—but only if you’re 21. If not, you’ll be limited to fraternity and house parties for fun, which isn’t all that bad.
